At Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, we assign a core member of the Health Law Practice Group as the engagement attorney to be responsible for managing each client's legal services. Where a health care client's legal needs require expertise in other areas, such as tax, labor, real estate, or litigation, the engagement attorney is responsible for assuring that such matters are properly coordinated and staffed in a cost-effective manner. While involvement of lawyers with diverse backgrounds is critical to representation of health care clients, one of the core members of the Health Law Practice Group remains involved in every matter handled for our health care clients to ensure that regulatory and reimbursement considerations are appropriately assessed and managed.
In the final analysis, the attorneys in our Health Law Practice Group either practice exclusively in the health area or have continuous involvement with our health clients. That the full resources of the firm back our health law practice is evidenced by the fact that approximately half the lawyers in our firm have worked on behalf of our health care clients at some point during their careers.
